Life is full of challenges, and when you are feeling stuck or overwhelmed, it can be helpful to have someone walk alongside you. Therapy offers a space where you can process both present and past experiences. It can also be a place for you to build better self-awareness and gain a deeper understanding of your experiences. Some of the areas in which I work with clients include anxiety, depression, anger, perfectionism, people-pleasing, self-esteem, faith issues, relationships, work conflict, stress, burnout, self-care, life transitions, grief and loss, pre-marital preparation, and marriage.
Why Therapy?
Nothing you have been through or are currently struggling with is stupid, silly, too much or too minuscule of an issue to come to therapy for. You matter! Therapy can be a place for you to feel understood and supported as you process through life’s challenges. For some talk therapy is enough - a place for you to take time to process your thoughts and feelings. For others, you will appreciate learning coping strategies or taking an action oriented approach to create change. Therapy can be helpful for most people to build awareness into their lives and understand themselves better. This will often lead to positive change and working towards building healthy relationships.
